His areas of specialization include English and American literature, as well as Adaptation Studies. His first book,&nbsp;<em>POV Horror: The Trauma Aesthetic of the Found Footage Subgenre<\/em>, was adapted from his PhD thesis and published in 2023. Duncan has published essays in&nbsp;<em>Frames Cinema Journal<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Tower of the Hand<\/em>, as well as the anthology&nbsp;<em>Horror Comes Home<\/em>. Duncan is one of the hosts of the&nbsp;<em>Vassals of Kingsgrave<\/em>, a podcast for fans of fantasy fiction and geek culture. He also hosts&nbsp;<em>The Movie Passport<\/em>, a podcast about world cinema. His second book,&nbsp;<em>Notes from the Citadel: The Philosophy and Psychology of A Song of Ice and Fire<\/em>, was published in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Email Address<\/strong> | d.hubber@uq.edu.au<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carlos Carneiro<\/strong><strong> |<\/strong> Carlos Carneiro has a PhD in Languages, Literatures and Cultures and is a researcher from ULICES. His research interests are concerned with early Irish literature and its influence in European medieval culture, which led him to write two books on the subject. He is also focused on the interdisciplinary study of Celtic culture in general, including the study of Celtic roots in the Iberian Peninsula and their cultural relationship with the British Isles. Viegas | Alexis F. Viegas <\/strong>holds an MA in Comparative Studies (University of Lisbon) with the following thesis: \u201cAnalepsis and The Theatrics of Empathy in <em>The Last of Us: Part II<\/em>\u201d. He holds a BA in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from the same institution. He co-organized the conference \u201c<em>Nosferatu<\/em>: 100 Anos de Terror\u201d, and co-edited the resulting, homonymous anthology (2023). Her research primarily focuses on invented languages (\u201cconlangs\u201d) in fantasy and science fiction with emphasis on their functions and effects across different types of media. Here, she is especially interested in adaptations of J. R. R. Tolkien\u2019s texts about Arda. These range from audiobooks to movies, TV shows, and many kinds of games like videogames and boardgames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Email Address |<\/strong> huber-mareike@gmx.de<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elisa Azevedo |<\/strong> Elisa Azevedo (b. 1996, Porto, Portugal) lives and works between Lausanne, Switzerland, and Lisbon, Portugal. She holds a degree in Multimedia Art &#8211; Photography from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon (2018) and a Postgraduate degree in Contemporary Photographic Discourses (2019) from the same institution. Currently, she is pursuing a Master\u2019s in Photography at \u00c9CAL (2023-2025). <del><\/del><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her work is rooted in a sensitive approach to reality, without an immediate attachment to time, space, or the subject she portrays.
